Pilates is a form of exercise with the aim to create a balanced body. The movements are flowing andthey include both strengthening and stretching, which creates lean, strong and flexible muscles.

Pilates is most famous for flattening the stomach and shaping the body. However, it is also anoutstanding tool to create body awareness, reduce shoulder/neck tensions, improve posture as well asfor injury prevention and rehabilitation.


At Lund's Yoga School we offer Pilates training in small groups only, in order to guarantee our students excellent quality classes with personal feedback and adjustments to individual body conditions. You will learn a good technique from the beginning given that this is the key to Pilates being effective,challenging and safe at the same time. In addition to the original matwork, we will work with varioustools such as the magic circle, foam roller and balls of different sizes.

Rebecca Grottschreiber är certifierad lärare för alla nivåer av pilates, (både mattor och utrustning). Hon fick sin professionella träning på Pilates International i London och har undervisat sedan dess, både i London, Köpenhamn och i södra Sverige. Intensive Post-natal Pilates

4-veckors kurs för kvinnor efter graviditeten

After having gone through a major transformation during pregnancy and the huge event of giving birth, you might be longing to get your body back into shape. Along with loosing excess weight, the focus areas for exercise after childbirth are your abdomen and the pelvic floor. The post-natal Pilates course will help you to reconnect with those muscle groups, to safely strengthen them and to improve your overall body shape. Also, you will improve strength and flexibility in your entire body which are important for the great physical demands of taking care of a baby or small children. Last but not least, Pilates helps you to love your body, to feel beautiful and to move more gracefully.
